Studio Classes

You are going to love the studio experience, and I look forward to sharing my space with you! The space is set up in a way that is easy to navigate and there is no intimidating equipment around the floors. All classes are going to be in small groups and you will be encouraged to ask for any modifications or explanations anytime you want them. I usually make hands-on adjustments, but if you do not want that, please feel free to let me know. You can trust that your instructor has your safety and wellbeing as a priority, no matter which class you attend.

All you will need is to wear comfy clothes, and bring your water.

For yoga, ideally you will bring your own mat.

If you forget your water or your mat, these will be available at the studio at no charge :)

Please arrive on time. (I usually lock the door once class starts)

Online Classes

Experience the convenience of working out from the comfort of your own home!

You might be asking yourself, what makes these classes different from just following along with video on YouTube/Facebook etc?

Most importantly, injury prevention.

It is normal to assume that you are doing your plank or squats perfectly while watching a video. But if done wrong, you could be straining your knees or torquing your shoulder, which leads to injury.

In the guided classes, if something feels off, you get to ask for modifications instead of repeating incorrect movement patterns. Most likely, I will notice the misalignment and help you correct your form. The one-on-one guidance during your exercise is essential to preventing injury.

Almost as important, synergy!

The number of participants in each class is limited so that you get to know each other and it’s always fun to see that you have friends exercising with you.

This might not matter much to you, but it is scientifically proven that when we work in groups, there is an increase in motivation and improvement in effort - it’s called the Koehler effect, and it is available to you in every online Strong EnCore class.

You will need minimal equipment, and I offer suggestions to modify with things you have around the house (books, hand towels, water bottles etc.) so that your personal space does not start to look like the equipment closet of a small gym!
